Some of the defining characteristics of Extinction Rebellion actions are that we are loud, fun, and approachable - no XR action is complete without our signature music, chanting, and infectious energy.

This workshop is designed to harness that energy.

The more Rebels who know the songs and can teach them to others - who know the chants and are confident on megaphones - who know how to lay down a sweet groove on the drums - the more epic and colourful our actions will become. So come to the Hive and make some noise! In time with each other!

This workshop will be covering:

- All our favourite chants and songs

- How to come up with new chants

- Drumming and rhythm  

- Megaphone and microphone technique

- Impromptu speechmaking

And will also feature tasty snacks! Feel free to bring along any songs or chants you'd like to teach, or any instruments (particularly percussion instruments) you'd like to play.
