In recognition of World Refugee Day, MIRR Alliance, Unitarian Universalist Service Committee, Karen Human Rights Group, and U.S. Campaign for Burma are co-sponsoring a panel event to discuss the experiences and hurdles that IDPs and refugees face in Karen and Shan states since the coup attempt, as well as the right to seek safety for the people of Burma fleeing the junta regime's brutal campaign of violence. This event will launch a monthly series to focus on the forced displacement that tens of thousands of civilians are experiencing inside and outside Burma.
