Religion/Government Separation in Michigan Today

Start: Saturday, April 29, 2023 7:00 PM

A Conversation with Senator Rosemary Bayer and President Pro Tem Senator Jeremy Moss

As we mark Havdalah, the separation of Shabbat into the week, join us to discuss the separation of religion and government with two leaders in our state. Jews for a Secular Democracy Michigan Director Nomi Joyrich will facilitate a conversation that will address current issues, including threats of Christian Nationalism as seen in the Michigan Legislature, and take Q&A from the audience.

This is a hybrid event—you can join online by registering, or you can attend in person (no registration necessary) at the Congregation for Humanistic Judaism located at: 28611 W 12 Mile Rd Farmington Hills, MI 48334
