Rep. Pearce Town Hall on PTSD and Veterans Issues

Start: Monday, June 10, 201312:00 PM

*NOTE: Time of event subject to change.* Congressman Pearce will host a town hall meeting with the Director of the Albuquerque VA Medical Center to discuss Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), care and treatment through the VA, and policy solutions for our veterans. Since 2010, he has held nine meetings throughout New Mexico's Second Congressional District with VA officials and veterans, to help facilitate improved communication and service. Congressman Pearce continues to hear serious concerns from veterans needing treatment for PTSD and Traumatic Brain Injury. As these represent the fastest growing category for veterans, Congressman Pearce is focused on making sure these concerns are addressed, and that effective solutions are found to help every veteran suffering from PTSD and TBI. VA Staff will be available beginning at 9:30 am for private consultations with veterans. Congressman Pearce will lead the meeting, and members of his staff and his Veterans Advisory Council will be available to assist veterans.
