Join tenants and community groups across NY State to learn about historic organizing victories for resident control as well as about Tenant Opportunity to Purchase Act (TOPA)!

Introduced by State Senator Myrie and Assemblymember Mitaynes, TOPA would give tenants in a majority of buildings the first right to purchase their homes when up for sale.

Tenant organizing coupled with TOPA’s passage would help to preserve thousands of units of housing, create low-equity co-ops, and take our homes out of the cycle of speculation!
