We want you to dig through your closet and find alllllll that merch you've been hoarding from every campaign and cause you've ever worked on or supported. Whether it's a button from the Dean 2004 campaign or Abortion Hot Sauce from 2023 -- we want to see your merch with the BEST story behind it.

Here's the schedule for the night:

• 6:00pm Doors Opens
• 6:30pm Speed Grouping -- You'll have 15 mins to huddle with 2-3 people you do NOT already know and share the story behind your merch. We'll do 3 rounds of this!
• 7:15pm Best in Show -- Think you've got the MOST outrageous story? Share it with the whole crowd, and win a prize.
• 8:00pm Play Semisonic's "Closing Time" -- You don't have to go home, AND you can stay at Midlands! The event will just be over.

A few ground rules for this event:

• You must be 21+ or older to enter Midlands.
• You must be vaccinated against COVID-19 (including boosters!).
• RSVP required -- We only have space for up 100 people. To help Midlands with crowd control, you MUST RSVP here to join the event.
• This event is the start not the end -- Commit to getting together with at least 1 new person you meet at this event in the next 2 months.
• Skip the business cards -- Want to stay in touch with someone? Pull out your phone and send that first email, text, or DM to get your conversation going immediately.
• We've got free food! Thanks to our generous sponsors, we will have a $2000 tab to cover food and drinks. Attendees will be given tickets to help ensure everyone is able to order. (Pro-tip for making friends: The nachos can easily feed 4-6 people!)

The venue:
Midlands has outdoor and indoor space. We will be outside unless there is really bad weather (rain, freezing temps, plagues of locusts). There will be firepits and heaters if it's chilly out.
