Join Jay Chen current California congressional candidate and Connecticut Attorney General, William Tong for a non-partisan discussion on their experience running for office and the challenges they face.

We will also dive into a larger discussion on how Asian American and Pacific Islander voters are feeling in our current political climate, what issues are most important to them, and how we as organizers should be engaging with AAPI voters to encourage them to vote in the midterms.

Jay Chen is a former veteran and current Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Naval Reserves running for office in California's 45th Congressional District.

William Tong is the 25th and current Attorney General of Connecticut, and is the first Asian American elected at the state level in Connecticut.

This is part of an ongoing series, "Road to the Midterms: Looking Forward and Federal," where we will be joined by members of Congress, voting rights activist and state leaders for in-depth discussions on important pro-democracy legislation and efforts that you can help support as we gear up for the 2022 midterm elections.
