Central Ohio Worker Center has developed a safety plan for our events, to help ensure all participants are as safe as possible. While unlikely, we want to be prepared if ICE were to arrive at any of our events.

We will train volunteers (like you!) to help keep an eye out for any law enforcement that we and provide a way of upholding the rights of participants. This training is intended for people with citizenship and other privileges that may make you safer if any escalation takes place.

Training will include a review of rights, practice of de-escalation and how to identify legal documents such as warrants.
