Come join us at a Save Healthcare Die In! The bill is alive and well until it is defeated! We will either die in to push for a NO vote on Graham-Cassidy or we will RISE UP if we have victory, to thank lawmakers for doing the right thing (and reminding them why it is the right thing, in an attempt to stop another vote like this).

If the bill is still active, people will lay down and "die" as we read their obituaries (template for short and direct obit we'd like you to use: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1AXHvtvzB4EuIcUycbjzR7WifOVP0LhrTK5PIfYodTYU/edit?usp=sharing) and those written by others, and we will end in several minutes of silence. If the bill has been stopped, we will start by lying down, but as we read the obituaries, with the annotation that the person will not die, everyone shall stand up and rejoice. You do not need to provide an obit, but we'd appreciate getting some.

We need people willing to play the part of mourners, the dying, and as well a few people in medical attire (scrubs, white coat etc).

Wear somber dark clothing, bring signs, bring tombstones (readily available at drugstores, Target, and party stores this time of year or make your own) and your obituaries to read. eCandles or wax candles in jars are welcome, too.
