We, the Fandom Forward Party, have been on a lot of quests together… To name just a few recent ones:

• In 2022, we embarked on an adventure to contact villagers in the distant lands of Pennsylvania about the looming threat of climate change and we managed to reach 5,000 villagers by carrier pigeon about why they should cast their vote in an upcoming election,
• Earlier this year, we raised $3,500 gold pieces in a team-up to protect trans rights and advocate for climate justice
• And so much more!!

Fandom Forward (and the world at large) have made a lot of progress over the years, but that progress is being threatened by attacks from the nefarious Minions of Misinformation. There have been relentless attacks from the group of no-gooders against reproductive freedoms, trans and LGBTQ+ rights, and, of course, access to knowledge and books.

The good news is that there is something we can do to right these wrongs. We can vote, and we can ensure that everyone has the ability and access to vote.

We're not delusional. We know that voting will not immediately fix every inequity in the world, but it will save the progress we’ve made so far.

We're looking for heroes to join us on the quest to SAVE OUR PROGRESS. Will you join our team? Here's what this quest entails:

• Attending a FREE, half-day conference hosted on the platform Gather on Sat, Nov 4 from 2:00-5:30 pm ET (with an optional game night from 5:30-6:30pm ET!)
• During this conference, you'll meet fellow gamers and attend sessions on the following topics:
  • What is fan activism?
  • Why does my vote matter?
  • How do I organize a voting action within my fandom?
• You'll leave with the following new XP:
  • An understanding of how to make connections between your favorite video games and real-world inequities
  • The skills to identify and talk to fellow fans about those inequities
  • A filled-out worksheet with your unique plan to organize a voting action within your fandom
  • The opportunity to be #1 on the SAVE OUR PROGRESS Leaderboard!
