Trump released his budget proposal, and the reviews are in: it "puts struggling Americans on edge" and "would be a kick in the shins for low-income Americans."  Donald Trump promised to advocate for the forgotten Americans during the campaign, but his actions say otherwise.

Trump's budget agenda has been described as a blueprint and a statement of values. Even if it doesn't become legislation, we must voice our opposition to the harmful values it represents. Congressman Yoder sits on the House Appropriations Committee, and has direct access to turning budgets into policy.
