Join Seamless Bay Area and friends as we celebrate the launch of SB 1031, the Connect Bay Area Act. This bill is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to transform Bay Area transit with an expected $1-2 billion in annual funding for more robust transit service, transit and safe street improvements, and climate resilient transportation infrastructure. Vital policy reforms in the bill will help guarantee that new and existing funding go further, delivering convenient, well-coordinated service and making sure our buses and trains are faster, safer, and more reliable.

We'll be joined by State Senator Scott Wiener, one of California’s most committed elected officials who consistently stands up for an integrated and robust public transportation system.

Around 7:30pm, we'll hear from Senator Wiener and our other esteemed guest speakers for the night. Seamless Bay Area Co-Executive Directors Ian Griffiths and Adina Levin will share how reforms included in the bill will be crucial for creating a rider-first transit system for all Bay Area residents.

Come celebrate this important milestone, learn how you can support, and help us sustain our work pushing for a 2026 regional ballot measure! Attendance is free but we encourage you to make a donation to help us in our efforts advocating for a seamless transit system that works for everyone. Light food and non-alcoholic refreshments will be provided and alcohol will be available for purchase - so bring your friends, family, and fellow transit enthusiasts along!

Can't attend this event but want to support Seamless Bay Area's work? You can contribute via a Donor-Advised Fund to Seamless Bay Area Alliance (EIN: #83-4526281) and take advantage of employer matching programs by using this link: www.seamlessbayareaalliance.org.

The entrance to Trellis Coworking & Events is accessible with no steps. There are two levels to the building, but we will be celebrating on the ground floor which is accessible.
