Families United to End LWOP (FUEL) is hosting a Zoom meeting - Tuesday, May 18th at 7:00 PM for a discussion of SB 481: Sentencing: Special circumstances.

Elizabeth Calvin - Human Rights Watch, April Grayson - The Young Women’s Freedom Center and Esteban Núñez with Anti Recidivism Coalition (the SB 481 team) will help direct our efforts to a winning outcome!

After years of filing & following court cases challenging LWOP and flooding the Governor’s office with commutation applications, 2021 has given us several bills offering hope to thousands of men and women (and their families) serving LWOP, or Death by Incarceration!! There is reason for optimism!
