On Thursday, May 14, join Seamless Bay Area and Assemblymember David Chiu for a webinar about the current state of transit reform efforts in the Bay Area, including how we can help our transit system recover from the COVID-19 crisis and become more connected, equitable, and sustainable than before.

The COVID-19 crisis has upended this year's legislative session in California, with lawmakers choosing to severely limit the number of bills under consideration this year. With AB 2057 (Chiu), the Bay Area Seamless Transit Act, no longer moving forward in 2020, we'll talk about the what happens next in the movement for a seamless Bay Area transit system, including:

• Opportunities to advance more coordinated transit service in the Bay Area right away - to better meet the needs of essential workers and transit-dependent riders in this time of reduced service, and promote a stronger recovery
• What's going on in Washington, D.C., and in Sacramento to stabilize our transit system now and in the future
