Join Seattle YIMBY and Urban Planner Markus Johnson on a neighborhood walk through the beautiful Ballard neighborhood. The approximately 1.5-mile long walk will take us to many of the remaining missing middle houses in this area - moderately sized homes that provide housing to more than just one family.

Learn when and why these more affordable housing types were outlawed and what we can do to bring them back.

We will meet at 1:30 pm at the intersection of 65th Street NW and 14th Ave, south of the Ballard High School Football Field. The walk will take about an hour and end in the Ballard Brewery district (either Stoup or Urban Family Brewing), where everyone is welcome to stick around for more discussions.
