Sen. Cruz: We Demand an Investigation!

Start: Tuesday, March 07, 201712:00 PM

End: Tuesday, March 07, 2017 1:30 PM

IN-PERSON - CALL TO ACTION - SEN. CRUZ'S CENTRAL OFFICE

TUESDAY MARCH 7TH 2017 @ 12PM

TOPIC:
We're organizing a rally at Senator Cruz's downtown Austin office, TUESDAY MARCH 7TH @ NOON to demand an independent investigation into Trump’s Administration’s ties to Russia.

The facts are: Russian intelligence illegally interfered in the American election to help Trump win, while Trump campaign surrogates were regularly meeting with Russian officials. One of them has been fired from the administration and another forced to recuse himself from investigations—both for the same reason: lying to government officials and the American people about their contacts with Russia. Trump could instantly allay suspicion by releasing his tax returns, but he refuses to do so. Top Republicans in Congress, meanwhile, have openly stated that they see no personal advantages in investigating a president of their own party.

IF EVER THERE WERE A NEED FOR A SPECIAL PROSECUTOR, THIS IS IT!

But the only way we’re going to get it is by making our voices heard—loudly and often. So come to Cruz’s office this Tuesday and join us in demanding:
- that a special prosecutor be appointed to investigate Trump’s ties to Russia.
- that Jeff Sessions resign from the Justice Department for lying under oath to Congress.
- that Trump’s tax returns be subpoenaed and made public.

WHAT TO BRING:
Write a letter about your concerns on Trump’s Administration’s ties to Russia to read aloud or give to his staffers. If they let us in the office (which is unlikely) you will need a photo ID to enter. Bring a protest sign relavant to the topic. You don’t have to speak if you don’t want to, supporting others is just as important. If they aren’t interested in listening to us speak, we might move forward with a peaceful protest. Children and babies are ALWAYS welcome!

WHEN:
Tuesday March 7th @ Noon - 1:30pm

WHERE:
Sen. Cruz's Central Austin Office
J.J Pickle Federal Building
300 E 8th
Suite 961
Austin, TX 78701
(Please meet in the plaza in the back of the building. The entrance is through a large black gate on the west side of the building off San Jacinto and 9th.)

PARKING INFO:
St. Davids at the corner of Trinity & 8th has a public parking garage. That is an option if you can't find street parking.

If you can't make it Tuesday, we encourage you to visit Senator Cruz's or Cornyn's office anytime this week. Remember, they work for us, and their staffers are paid to listen to constituents!

Share as widely as possible. Look forward to seeing you there!

WE DEMAND AN INVESTIGATION! WE WILL NOT BACKDOWN!!
