Join us on Tuesday, September 13 for a wide-ranging discussion among three incredible organizers with deep roots in the migrant justice movement as they together reflect on 20 years of struggle and their personal and collective trajectories towards justice. RSVP now to get the Zoom link.

  • ROBYN MAYNARD is a Toronto-based writer and scholar. Her latest book is Rehearsals for Living, co-authored with Leanne Betasamosake Simpson.
  • HARSHA WALIA is a South Asian activist and writer based in Vancouver, unceded Coast Salish Territories. Her latest book is Border and Rule
  • NAZILA BETTACHE is a Montreal based social justice activist, physician and member of Caring for Social Justice Collective.

This event will reflect on migrant justice movements in ‘Canada’ that Robyn, Harsha and Nazila have been crucial parts of that have led to the current opportunity to win permanent resident status for all. It is taking place in advance of the cross-country day of action for Rights, Regularization and Status for All on September 18.

The event will be in English with simultaneous interpretation in French.
