Raise the Wage Day of Action!
Start: Sunday, March 05, 2023•11:00 AM

Workers are being squeezed by rising prices. Six years ago, New York was one of the first states to adopt a $15 minimum wage. But the price of everything - from gas and rent to groceries - rising at the fastest rate in 40 years, families can't make ends meet on $15 an hour.
The solution is clear. We are calling on our elected lawmakers in Albany to raise New York's minimum wage to $21.25 by 2027 and index it to inflation - to make sure it never falls behind again.
On March 5th at 11am, Raise Up NY Coalition partners, including Teamsters Local 804, are going to meet at the Mastic Shirley LIRR Station before splitting up to knock on doors in the local community to build support for the Raise the Wage Act. Can you join us?
