Sit, Stand Sing: The many roles of Direct Action

Throughout May and June 2019, Sane Energy Project and 350.org will travel across New York on the ‘Sit, Stand Sing’ tour to collaborate with communities featured on the You Are Here map.

In Dutchess County, we're holding an all-day training with Stop Cricket Valley Plant to teach critical direct action and organizing skills for our movement.

The schedule for the day is as follows:

• 11:00 AM, meet at Cricket Valley Gas Plant to picket for one hour.
• 12:00 PM, go to El Universal for lunch.
• 1:00 PM  - 5:00 PM commence training

Join us to learn more about the local fight against the Cricket Valley Fracked Gas Plant and the statewide movement for climate justice in a day of training, singing, and more!
