Please plan to meet at the Union Labor Center to discuss negotiations and actions that may be necessary to ensure that we get a fair and sizable salary increase. THIS IS OUR CHANCE! The Utah Legislature awarded every classroom teacher in Utah's public schools $4200. This will be on top of any salary increases that the Salt Lake School District will negotiate with teachers. So their percentage of increases will be sizable. Support staff in SLCSD deserve more, and our negotiation teams are demanding more! We need to come together in SOLIDARITY and stand firm on our demands. Tuesday May 9th will be our opportunity to meet together and make plans to STAND TOGETHER IN UNITY FOR THIS FIGHT!
