We will be hearing from small business owners and city leaders, including:
- President of the Board of Supervisors Aaron Peskin
- Nick Parker, Owner Mercury Cafe
- Christin Evans, Co-owner Booksmith and Alembic
- Yolanda Porrata, Owner VERA Skin Studio
- Justin Dolezal, Co-owner Bar Part Time
We will be discussing small business protection options, including:
- Pres. Peskin's proposal to add conditional use for legacy businesses.
- Other policy ideas to prevent small business displacement being explored by Small Business Forward
Come ready to ask questions and/or share your ideas and pinch points. There will be city leaders, other small business folks, and people interested in the issue there.
