Learning Thursdays is back for 2021!

So, how does Community Organising work? Demonstrating our power and impact through evidence.

Join us for our first session of the year on 14th January at 4pm. Rather than dividing into the usual Learning For Leaders introductory group, or Community Organising Masterclass, we will all come together for this first reflective Learning Thursdays of 2021.

If you’re involved in Citizens you’ll be familiar with stories of campaigns won and community leaders developed, and you may have taken part in public actions and Assemblies, but have you ever looked for more substantial “proof” that our method for building people power and winning social justice works? Thanks to a newly published research study in collaboration with Nottingham Trent University, we’re excited to share with you a new, comprehensive evidence base on the impact of broad-based Community Organising. Join us to hear from the leaders, Community Organisers and researchers involved in the study and delve deeper into the evidence for how Community Organising strengthens relationships across diverse institutions, how it enables local people to build genuine ownership over their local Citizens alliance and how it develops community leaders at all levels. You will have a chance to reflect on how this evidence can support your institution or your Leadership Team, especially if you want to get more people and institutions in your area to engaged in Community Organising alongside you!

Register now by filling in your details, and share with your friends and colleagues!

Once you have registered you will receive a zoom link.

We look forward to seeing you there!
