This summer our DSA Eastside+SGV branch is launching our inaugural Socialist Summer School! Throughout the summer we'll have different lessons on basics of socialist theory and history to deepen our understanding of what it means to be a socialist and what we are fighting for.

Topics will include: Intro to Marxism, History of Socialism, Socialist Feminism, and 21st Century Socialism.

Module 1 on Saturday June 29th will cover Marxism and Dialetical Materialism. What is it and what does it mean for our organizing?

No prior knowledge of theory is necessary or required! New members and experienced organizers are all welcome.

There is a reading that is encouraged, RSVP to receive it.
