We're teaming up with the Green New Deal Campaign Commission to call our comrades about Green New Dues! We'll focus on the exciting progress we're making across the country on the Green New Deal - like winning the Building Public Renewables Campaign in New York earlier this year.

We're going to call members in New York state to ask them to get involved in the Green New York campaign and commit to Solidarity Dues, so that we implement BPRA on our terms. Together we can unleash the full potential of public power, until our energy is 100% renewable and the last smokestack comes down.

As part of our Solidarity Dues Drive, we're asking members to contribute 1% of your income to DSA as Solidarity Dues. This is common in working class organizations like unions, and it helps ensure we have the collective, democratic power to keep building our sustainability and win real change.

We kicked off our Solidarity Dues drive at the 2023 Convention. After calling convention delegates, our next step is to follow up with members who already pay monthly dues to commit to Solidarity Dues . We'll start the phone bank with a short training so that everyone feels comfortable putting the script into their own words and knows how to use the dialer.
