If you attended the General Meeting on Tuesday, you may have heard that I was recently hired as Chapter Organizer for Seattle DSA. I am extremely grateful to the local council and to all of you for supporting me on this journey.

I’m gonna be straight, South King County will be a major priority this year. It will involve building solidarity and support amongst our current South King County DSA members, and once we’re well setup, inviting new folks into this branch to participate in the process.

I am hosting a quick one-hour meeting to discuss the establishment of the South King County Branch on Monday, January 30th, from 6:00 - 7:00 PM.

This meeting is open to all members. We will be discussing a recently drafted Charter for submission to the LC, a campaign update from Raise the Wage Renton, and a potential resolution to be submitted at the Chapter Convention.
