Seattle DSA is considering an endorsement of Sherae Lascelles (they/them), activist candidate for State House, running against one of the most prominent Democratic establishment politicians in the state, Frank Chopp. At our September 1 General Membership Meeting we were honored to be joined by Sherae for a Q&A town hall.

This meeting (9/8) is a special membership meeting organized to give members sufficient time and information to consider an endorsement of Sherae's campaign. Voting on endorsement will be open to all members who attended either the 9/1 General Membership Meeting or the 9/8 special membership meeting, and will be opened after the special meeting.
