You're invited to join fellow lawmakers and union members representing the Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace (SPEEA) for a reception Wednesday, Feb. 26 in Topeka.

Although the invitation is going specifically to lawmakers in the Wichita area, other lawmakers
and elected officials are also planning to attend along with union leaders from across Kansas.
Staff are welcome to attend on behalf of lawmakers who cannot make it.
This is a great opportunity to network with constituents and peers.
SPEEA represents nearly 3,000 aerospace engineers, professionals and technical workers at
Spirit AeroSystems in Wichita. Our professional aerospace union represents more than 18,000
aerospace workers nationwide.
Later this year, SPEEA will negotiate the Wichita Technical & Professional Unit (WTPU) contract, which expires Jan. 31, 2026. SPEEA represents more than 1,500 technical and professional workers at Spirit.
