The Washington State Coordinating Committee and the Spokane Task Force of the Poor People’s Campaign invite you to attend this powerful intensive! Please have each person complete the RSVP information so we can adequately prepare for you. Lunch will be provided.

This event is designed for:
1) Introducing new people, those who are experienced activists and people who are new to justice work, to the principles and methods of the Poor People’s Campaign.
2) Training and empowering the existing leaders and members of the Spokane Task Force of the Poor People’s Campaign to build the movement in Spokane.

The content will be grounded in the principles and demands of the Poor People’s Campaign and will have three primary parts:
1) Moral Fusion Organizing. This will be a powerful and informative introduction into how the PPC organizes and builds power in communities
2) Treatment Plan Development & Implementation Training. This will include Power Analysis training, 101 Ways to Do Direct Action, and our renowned Direct Action Training.
3) The intensive will end with a session to plan a Direct Action event in Spokane.
