ABOUT THE EVENT
Hear from a panel of labor leaders and activists about the tremendous work being done to continue to build the recruitment and training and the leadership of women in the building trades. The panelists will shine a spotlight on the successful and growing Trades Women Build Nations Conference, on community partnerships that recruit women into apprentice programs, on the potential to recruit women veterans into the trades, and on how this all builds economic power for women workers. The full program will include remarks and a question-and-answer session and a reception.
In addition, join us for a final chance to engage with an exhibit celebrating the history of women in the trades, from Eisenberg. The stunning work is on display in the AFL-CIO lobby and reflects both the struggles and the achievements of tradeswomen.
