Since December 2021, more than 8,000 Starbucks workers have organized 330+ stores, calling for Starbucks to respect workers’ fundamental right to organize and bargain a fair contract with their workers. Despite the power that workers have built and their eagerness to engage with the company, Starbucks continues to use whatever tactics they can think of to get in the way of workers’ efforts to make improvements in their workplace.

The Monday, August 7 day of action is just the first of a series of national days of action to activate customers and allies to hold Starbucks accountable for their union-busting and exploitative behavior. Together, we’ll send the message that we won’t let up until Starbucks quits union busting and starts respecting worker rights.
