Deconstructing Transphobia: On Inclusivity in Activist Spaces, is an exploration of inclusive language, practices, and allyship with transgender and gender non-conforming people and communities. This workshop is aimed at cisgender allies and includes definitions, examples, and resources accessible to various learning styles and levels of understanding.
Through this workshop we will:
- Develop a greater understanding of the importance of inclusivity.- Introduce the concept of Trans Climate Justice.
- Explore terminology used to define Trans identities and experiences
- Learn how to practice allyship, and respond to Transphobia
We'll also discuss how to apply these learnings to the Stop Rosebank campaign.
