#StopCambo Digital Action at Conservative Party Conference (Online Event)
Start: Tuesday, October 05, 2021• 8:30 AM
End: Tuesday, October 05, 2021•10:00 AM
Overview
From October 3rd to October 6th, the Conservative Party will be meeting in Manchester for their annual party conference.
Not a single Conservative MP has come out against the Cambo oil field. With the crucial COP26 climate conference less than a month away, now is the time for Tory MPs to finally take a stand.
On Tuesday morning, we're going to flood the twitter feeds of Conservative MPs to demand that they take a stand against Cambo. Many of these MPs have claimed to care about climate and have even pledge to support climate action. Here is their chance to prove it.
Logistics
A zoom link will be sent out shortly before the action. We encourage everyone to join the call where we'll run through the plan for the action and give an update about the campaign and upcoming mobilisations.
All you need to take part is a twitter account and a way to log into zoom.
Looking forward to seeing you on Tuesday and please let us know if you have any questions at action@stopcambo.org.uk.
