Stratford Action Day Bank Holiday Friday 7th April
Start: Friday, April 07, 2023•12:00 PM
We need your help on
Bank Holiday Friday 7th April
in Stratford!
Join us to help get the Green message out to residents across Newham.
This weekend we are in Stratford ward, the ward where we did our third best in terms of vote percentage in May 202, after Stratford Olympic Park where we won our two councillors.
We will be carrying out our 60 Seconds Surveys in a part of Newham we need to speak to residents in, as we seek to grow our presence across Newham in the years leading up to the next local elections in 2026, as well as the London elections next year.
Everybody is welcome, from experienced campaigners to complete newcomers. Nobody will be asked to campaign alone, and we will make sure to group newcomers with more experienced campaigners. As part of our plan to expand into more areas of Newham, we need to carry on reaching out to residents and showing that we are a party that gets things done to improve our borough.
It's important that we are out throughout the year, every year, not just in election years like some other parties. We need to be active so that residents know that we are working to improve Newham all of the time. That's why your help is so important. We can't do this without our members and supporters. And we know it works!
Stratford ward is a key area where we need to get to know our residents and gather information about the issues that matter to them, to maintain the support we grew in the lead up to the last local elections.
We'll meet at MIDDAY at the Pret A Manger cafe by the front of Stratford station, head out to do the surveys at homes in nearby streets, and then stop for lunch at 2pm. We'll continue from 3pm until 5pm, so if you can't join us from the start you can always join us for the later session - or visa-versa. Then when we'll finish and have some food and a well deserved beverage, or two, so it's a great opportunity to catch up or meet new people.
