Nurturing the Cycle of Black Womanhood: Nutrition, Wisdom & Maternal Health with Chef Babette
Join us for a powerful conversation with renowned plant-based chef and wellness advocate Chef Babette as we honor and explore the sacred cycle of Black womanhood through the lens of nutritional wisdom. This virtual discussion celebrates the journey of Black women from girlhood to motherhood and beyond, recognizing how proper nutrition sustains and empowers each stage of this cycle.
Chef Babette will share insights on:
- Ancestral food traditions that have nourished Black women across generations - Reclaiming nutritional knowledge as an act of self-determination and maternal empowerment
- How food sovereignty connects to reproductive justice for Black mothers
- Practical wisdom for nourishing the body and mind throughout the maternal journey
Together, we'll explore how dismantling nutritional misinformation is essential to breaking cycles of health disparities, while embracing the inherent wisdom and resilience within Black womanhood. This discussion affirms that when we nurture Black mothers with both knowledge and nourishment, we strengthen the entire circle of community.
