On August 19, SURJ Action is convening chapters from the Northeast region in order to help build relationships among regional chapters, provide skills training, and encourage joint campaign/organizing work.

There is no cost to attend this convening. Attendees are asked to work with their local chapter to raise the funds to cover the cost of travel and meals, and the host chapter in Rhode Island will arrange childcare for attendees, as well as supporter housing for those intending to stay overnight. We are also encouraging chapters to focus on sending folks to this convening who identify as poor or working-class and, if needed, SURJ National can help support chapters in providing wage replacement support for poor or working-class members who are able to attend.
