On September 30, SURJ National is convening chapters from Central and Northern California in order to help build relationships among chapters, provide skills training, and encourage joint campaign/organizing work.

There is no cost to attend this convening. Attendees are asked to work with their local chapter to raise the funds to cover the cost of travel (and lodging, if necessary), and the host chapter in Sacramento will arrange a potluck lunch for all attendees. We are also encouraging chapters to focus on sending folks to this convening who identify as poor or working-class and, if needed, SURJ National can help support chapters in providing wage replacement support for poor or working-class members who are able to attend.
