Syracuse DSA's annual convention where members will be able to democratically shape the future of the chapter by:

1. Submitting resolutions to propose changes to how Syracuse DSA operates, including amendments to Syracuse DSA’s bylaws.
   • Submit your proposal by 11:59pm on Saturday, January 21st using the convention proposals form here, which provides further instructions. All resolutions must be co-endorsed by 4 other members, and will be adopted if a simple majority of members votes yes at convention.
2. Voting on candidates for the Syracuse DSA Steering Committee.
   • To nominate candidates, please submit this form by 11:59pm on Tuesday, January 31st. See Steering Committee role descriptions here. Members need 2 nominations to qualify for a position. Members who are interested in running for a position are encouraged to actively ask others for nominations, and members who wish to nominate someone are encouraged to actively find another DSA member to second their nomination.

Anyone may attend convention, but in order to vote, you must be a dues-paying member of DSA in good standing. Confirm your DSA membership status here, and please pay or renew your annual or monthly membership dues if needed.
