The New York Health Act has been reintroduced with a majority of cosponsors in the New York State Senate and Assembly for the first time, and has made it through the Assembly Healthcare Committee! This means that we're closer than ever to winning single-payer healthcare for all New Yorkers--but our work isn't done yet! We need to build and activate a massive base of support to make sure the NYHA is put up for a vote this legislative session!

Join the NYC-DSA Healthcare Working Group to talk to our neighbors about the New York Health Act Saturday, May 15 from 1-3 p.m. We'll gather at 1 p.m. at Highland Park at the baseball diamond near the reservoir to talk to our neighbors about the New York Health Act and ask them to call key legislators and get involved in our campaign. There will be a training at the start of the event for all new canvassers! Please wear a mask and any DSA or Medicare for All gear you have, and bring a friend!
