In the 3rd episode of the climate talks, we are happy to announce Climate Scientist Prof. Dr. Saleemul Huq, Director of ICCCAD, Independent University of Bangladesh will be talking about the session where youth from around the country will have the opportunity to interact with him ask their questions regarding the climate change and share their thoughts with him. Dr. Huq is also a Senior Fellow at the International Institute for Environment & Development (IIED), where he is involved in building negotiating capacity and supporting the engagement of the Least Developed Countries (LDCs) in UNFCCC including negotiator training workshops for LDCs, policy briefings, and support for the Adaptation Fund Board, as well as research into vulnerability and adaptation to climate change in the least developed countries. He is a leading climate expert and is the co-author of a number of Inter-Governmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) reports. He has been named among the “World’s 100 Most Influential People in Climate Policy for 2019” for making a positive difference.
