We are entering the last big push of our #TaxTheRich campaign, and this weekend we’ll be teaming up with NYC-DSA for another statewide phonebank.

We will be calling residents of the 46th district, asking Senator Michelle Hinchey to support the Invest In Our NY Act. The State Assembly will be voting on next year’s budget in less than two months, and getting the Invest In Our NY Act passed is our only hope of avoiding further cuts to our already underfunded hospitals and health programs, schools, and crumbling infrastructure.  

Last month, we reached thousands of voters in Senator Skoufis’s district and made sure he heard they were tired of being at the frontline of New York’s austerity measures. Join the Mid-Hudson Valley DSA and DSA chapters across the state to make calls and tell Cuomo it’s time to tax the rich.
