No visitor to the American Museum of Natural History should leave the museum without learning about the urgency of climate crisis and the sixth mass extinction. Extinction Rebellion NYC is appealing to the museum administration and staff to do their jobs as educators and scientists and loudly proclaim our climate crisis status.

Ten times we have entered the AMNH and disrupted their most famous exhibits to highlight the fact that they are not doing what they can to educate the public about our climate crisis. The museum hides its climate exhibit in a dark corner hidden behind the planetarium.
