When it comes to the social justice issues we care about, be they environmental protection, police reform, or homelessness, we don't often get the chance to connect these issues to the democracy work Common Cause does. There are even less opportunities to talk to each other about how these issues affect our lives.

Come to our first-ever iteration of Common Cause Illinois' Purple Bench Project, done in partnership with the South Side Community Art Center.

Talk to community members about causes that matter to you, have some free food, engage with some historic works of art, and take part in the SSCAC's Bronzeville Art District Trolley Tour. This event is free and open to the public.
