Love timely trains, better buses, frequent ferries, safe scooters, smooth sidewalks, and exciting e-bikes? Join Transbay Coalition, Seamless Bay Area, Friends of Caltrain and people from across the nine-county Bay Area for a Happy Hour & Mixer in San Mateo. Come get to know fellow transit and active transportation supporters & advocates for better transit and more walkable/bikeable streets!
Is your bus always late and want to complain to some people who know the pain? Want to gush about the new Caltrain trains? Got big feels about how we were robbed of BART trains on the Golden Gate Bridge? Is there a street that you'd just love to see a protected bike lane on? Come hang out with us!
You can also learn more about Transbay Coalition's efforts and how you can get involved like getting bus lanes on Stevens Creek Blvd, electrifying the Capitol Corridor, and enhancing intersection daylighting! You could also start your own initiative to fix something you think could be better in your community and get support from us!
There will be brief comments by Special Guest -- San Mateo Count Supervisor David Canepa!
Location: Fieldwork San Mateo. Close to the Hillsdale Caltrain Station.
Time: 2pm on March 1st, 2025
