Grab a flashlight and head over to the 'Triple Threat Flashlight Vigil' in Teaneck! We'll shine a light on the three major threats facing our community from trains carrying Bakken crude oil:

1) Highly flammable Bakken crude is transported in substandard cars which can (and often do) explode on impact.

2) Diesel exhaust from idling trains endangers our health, especially that of children and the elderly.

3) Extracting, transporting and burning of fossil fuels, and dumping the carbon pollution into the atmosphere, puts profits before people and accelerates climate change.  

Trains carrying Bakken crude do not belong in our community--or anyone's community. Join the Flashlight vigil!
