Now that the congressional maps have been finalized, it's time to get to know the candidates running for the Democratic nomination in Pennsylvania's 17th Congressional District, Chris Deluzio and Sean Meloy.

Please join the SWPA Democratic Congressional Coalition (Partners For Progress SWPA, Indivisible Forest Hills, ProgressPA, Beaver County Democratic Committee, and Young Democrats of Allegheny County) for a PA-17 candidate forum on Thursday, April 7 at 7:30 pm on Zoom. This will be a one-night event featuring both Democratic candidates.

The new district is very similar to the current PA-17, encompassing all of Beaver County and much of suburban Allegheny County. There are, however, several communities new to the district, including a few urban municipalities. (Here is a map of the district: PA-17 map.)

Wherever you live in PA-17, this is a must-win race, and protecting this seat starts with picking the strongest candidate to be our nominee. There is no better way to make an informed decision in this crucial primary than to hear directly from the candidates themselves.
