Join Community Alliance With Family Farmers for a webinar series featuring farmers who are successfully selling their value-added products online. Farmers will share their story on developing their business to include value-added products (e.g. pastured meat, organic walnuts, etc) and how they navigated various logistics in fulfilling orders with e-commerce and shipping them nationwide.

Central Park Farms is a pastured raised animal producer in British Columbia, Canada. Central Park Farms sells their pork, beef, and chicken direct to consumer via e-commerce as well as at local farmers markets. Additionally, they offer a variety of pre-made products such as chicken pot pies and beef lasagna. Attendees will learn about the online systems they use to manage their business including Shopify, Instagram, and more. They will share details about building and managing their website, online store, order fulfillment, and local delivery. Additionally, they will share how they navigated the ups and downs of starting a farm from scratch.

Kendall also runs Marketing for Farmers where she coaches farmers through updating their farm marketing techniques. Below, on Instagram stories, Kendall was sharing some great information on the importance of building an email e-newsletter for your farm. Learn more from her during the webinar!
