Vigil against nuclear weapons, 11 am-12 noon, third Friday of each month at Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, Virginia. The Trident submarine USS Wyoming will be undergoing an overhaul at the shipyard through the end of 2019. The nuclear weapons on one Trident equals the explosive power of 1400 Hiroshima bombs. The vigil is at the main gate to the shipyard, on Effingham St. just north of Portsmouth Blvd.
