Vitis and Ovis Farm

THIS IS AN IN PERSON EVENT - LOCATION BELOW

Join us for a walking tour of Vitis and Ovis Farm, a highly diversified regenerative farm in the Capay Valley, followed by an open discussion about adaptations to drought, extreme temperatures, and other “climate extremes”. Learn how Vitis and Ovis integrate ducks in their vineyard and orchards, their strategies for water capture and water use efficiency, and other benefits to their diversified approach. We will all gather after the tour to brainstorm and share innovative approaches to farming in the face of our changing climate.

Please note that space is limited and this is meant to be a space for generative discussion and community for farmers and ranchers, so we kindly ask that only farmers, ranchers, and those working the land RSVP. If you are unable to make it, please let us know in order to make room for others to attend.

Hear from: Gisele Herren, Barbara Gemmill, and Hans Herren, Vitis and Ovis Farm

Locally sourced coffee and snacks will be available

Parking space is limited so we highly encourage carpooling if possible!
