Help maintain part of the new bike trail being built at Catawba Meadows park!

Background: Foothills Conservancy is partnered with the City of Morganton, Overmountain Cycles, and Black Diamond Trail Designs to construct and maintain a new natural surface mountain bike trail within Catawba Meadows park. The trail is not finished and therefore not open to the public yet.

What to expect: Meet at Rocky Ford Access area. Sign-in, stretch circle, & safety talk. Volunteers will be asked to carry tools +/- 2 miles on semi-steep trail. Volunteer tasks include: removing limbs/debri from trail, smoothing trail surface, cutting back roots or other vegetation. No experience needed. Tools & training provided!
