Join us for the weekend of anti-war protest at Waihopai.

People from all around New Zealand will be converging on the super-secret Waihopai satellite interception spybase, in Marlborough, on Saturday January 25th. The protest at the spy base will start at 10 a.m. on Saturday January 25th (spy base outer gate, Waihopai Valley Road). We will be at the Waihopai spy base main gate at Waihopai Valley Road from 10 a.m. There will be speakers; information will be provided on the function of the base; and there will be a peaceful protest, calling for its closure.

The action takes place on Saturday January 25th. But it involves a three day weekend (Friday-Sunday) to factor in travel to and from the remote location in Marlborough. The campground at Onamalutu is our base for Friday and Saturday nights. Meals are provided and it’s a good place for informal catch-ups with other activists.
